The Planthoppers and Leafhoppers of Benelux

This book is a supplement to the book „The Planthoppers and Leafhoppers of Germany“ published in German (2004) and English (2009) language. It is he first identification key to the hopper fauna of Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg, comprising altogether 508 species. There are richly-illustrated dichotomous keys which allow the identification of 11 families, 12 cicadellid subfamilies and 195 genera. At the species level, only those 13 species which are not found in Germany are fully treated and illustrated. However, concerning all species which do occur in Germany the book merely refers to the detailed descriptions and illustrations presented in the primal work.
